Enquire NowWhat age can my child start?
All vocal courses (Classical, Light and Western) start from 3 years. Ukulele and Tabla from 3.5 years; Piano / Keyboard and Harmonium from 4; Guitar, Flute, Bharatanatyam, Kathak and Western Dance from 5; Violin from 6; and Sitar from 7 years.
Do you offer online classes?
Yes. Classes are available as one-on-one or group sessions, at the learner’s location or online.
How long is each session, and how often?
Each session is 1 hour, with 1 or 2 sessions per week.
Which syllabus do you follow?
Indian classical courses follow the Akhil Bharatiya Gandharv Mahavidyalaya syllabus. Western Vocal, Piano / Keyboard and Guitar follow Trinity College London. Western Dance uses custom structured modules by certified professionals.
I’m a working professional. Can I reschedule classes?
Yes, private classes offer flexibility to working professionals, so you can reschedule classes to fit your work commitments.
Do you teach adults and senior citizens?
Yes. We offer customized classes for adults, and specially curated hobby classes for senior citizens, whether you’re picking up an instrument for the first time or rediscovering an old passion.
Do you work with schools?
Yes. Our in-school program covers daily music education in classrooms, annual functions, music examinations and seminars. We also run after-school and pre-school programs.
Do you have a program for toddlers?
Yes. The Gan Sanskar Programme by Little Ragas is designed for infants to children up to 3 years old. Children attend the classroom along with a parent while regular music sessions are in progress, and simply listen, observe and absorb the musical environment.
Can Sur Chaitanya run classes inside our residential society?
Yes. For residential societies in Mumbai, we set up and run an exclusive centre for culture, music and performing arts within the society, interiors, instruments, faculty, administration and maintenance are all handled by Sur Chaitanya, with no investment required from the society.
Do you have a recording studio?
Yes, Bhramnaad Studio by Sur Chaitanya offers background music scoring, a professional 5.1 mixing and mastering setup, karaoke and track production, studio rentals, voice-over dubbing, portfolio recording and a podcast studio.
Where are you located?
Our main centre is located in Deonar, Chembur. We also offer flexible learning options, including one-on-one and group classes at your home, music classes within residential societies, and structured music programmes at partner preschools.
